it doesnt last long, but when its here. glorious.
somewhere between losing my great granddad, meeting my real dad & losing my great grandmother, I lost my passion.
somewhere bewteen learning what real love is & letting of hurt feelings & falling for a Haitian man, I lost my passion.
somewhere between running from my past & finding a good hiding place, I lost my passion.
somewhere between reacting off my feelings, I lost my passion…
somewhere between going back to it all, I’ll find it again..
happiness my not come everyday, but you canfind iteveryday…
Dear Black Man,
It hurt to watch you sit, laugh and essentially agree with a person stereotyping your mother, sisters, aunts… your ancestors. Not so many years ago she would’ve been joyed to make those same remarks among “white girls”, as the sun beat your back and you tended to her crops. I write this not to down you, but to remind you of our history. To remind you of a breed of woman so fierce she is the glue of so many of our homes today. To encourage you to see the sass in her voice grounded in the same strength that brought you on this earth, fixed you up for school, and tried to make your life better than hers. No she will not lay down for you because you don’t need a doormat. You need strength when you are feeling weak. Black man, be strong enough to stand by a black woman.
Love,
Your Sister.————————————————————
Dear “White Girl”
I couldn’t dumb it down enough for you to get it if I tried.
Regards,
A no track wearing, bill paying, work slaying, only catch an attitude when dealing with imbeciles like you, BLACK, female. =)Disgusting!

from a distance is the best I can give….
cool.
I am a reflection of my surroundings. If you’re living in chaos, your mind will be there too. Understanding ones mind will bring about peace. and sleep, I hope.
Woooooo!!! My loins! Jeezusssss!…and his perfect fucking face [★] idris elba
“More and more, increasingly so. It’s definitely harder to sort of, maneuver. I’m not famous. You know, people don’t know my name. But they will recognize my face. ‘Morris Chestnut, right?’ I mean, just in my day-to-day experience, they don’t remember my name. Nine times out of 10, they’re like, ‘What’s his name again?’ I hear it every single day. ‘Oh, I love you — how do I say your name?’”there’s no reason that anyone should be this gorgeous. I love Mr.Idris Elba!!
I was JUST obsessing over him today! Beautiful Black Man! *fans self*
